HEY

I’m Noëlle!

I’m Noëlle, the human behind Everwilde Frenchies. What started with a love for this goofy little breed eventually became something I wanted to build with purpose.

Everwilde is intentionally small because I want my dogs to be part of my family before they are ever part of a breeding program. They live right alongside us, and for that we pay them their required cheese taxes. My husband and kids are just as in love with these squishy faces as I am.

Right now, Everwilde begins with Penny. She is my future foundation girl, and I’m giving her plenty of time to grow up before asking anything more of her. Her health testing will be completed once she’s old enough, and those results will guide the breeding decisions I make for her.

Choosing the right stud will matter just as much. I’ll be looking for a health-tested male who complements Penny and gives me a pairing I genuinely believe in. I’m in no hurry to make puppies simply for the sake of making puppies.

My first litter is planned for 2027 or 2028. Until then, I’m happy to take my time and build Everwilde the right way.

FIRST THERE WAS

Joe

Before bringing Joe home, I spent nearly a year researching French Bulldogs and looking for a breeder I trusted. That search eventually led me to NW Frenchies in 2018.

Joe was everything I hoped a Frenchie would be. He was healthy and easygoing, with the kind of temperament that made him wonderful with babies and everyone else he met. He was sooo chill until the zoomies hit, and then all bets were off.

He was my dream dog. Joe is still the Frenchie I carry in my heart when I think about the dogs I hope to produce through Everwilde.

THEN THERE WAS

Shad

Shad came into my life much later, as a senior rescue. By then, years of neglect had left their mark. He was blind and deaf, had lost his teeth, and was living with Cushing’s disease. He had also been bred well beyond the point when his comfort should have come first.

Somehow, none of that hardened him. Shad was incredibly affectionate and still had that unmistakable Frenchie spirit. He wanted to be close to his people. It was impossible not to fall completely in love with him.

Loving Shad showed me what can happen when the dog gets lost somewhere behind the breeding. He deserved better long before he ever found his way to me.

Joe showed me what I love about this breed. Shad gave me another reason to care deeply about how I breed them.

AND THEN CAME

Penelope

Seven years after I first considered breeding French Bulldogs, Penny came into my life.

I returned to NW Frenchies after losing both of my boys, initially just wondering if it might be time to bring another Frenchie home. Somewhere in those conversations, the idea I had put away years earlier came back too. This time, I was ready.

Penny came home as the future foundation of Everwilde. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow from a tiny potato into the funny little dog who now keeps all of us on our toes.

The plan is for Penny to have Everwilde’s first litter in 2027 or 2028, once she is fully mature and has completed the health testing required for my program. When the time comes, I’ll choose a health-tested stud specifically for her and the future I hope to build from that pairing.

Until then, she gets to be Penny.
